Weight loss success stories
One of the most common processes in finding a weight loss diet is to review success stories and failures. Many people find it important to know if others have had success with a particular diet and also whether or not a diet lives up to the hype it created. It is important to know however, that there are weight loss success stories for every diet that has been created. Some diets have more than others of course, however all do have some; it is all part of the marketing ploy.
Most diets, if not all diets, are introduced to the market with weight loss success stories in hand. This is nothing short of a marketing scheme to promote hype and a sense of urgency to try the diet. Dieters should never just try a diet solely on the success stories they advertise. Most are not realistic and if you go into a diet expecting to lose as much as a celebrity that endorsed it, you are set up for disappointment.
Weight loss success stories are showing up everywhere. They are on commercials and product infomercials, on Internet websites, in magazines and even on the discovery health channel as a program series. Most of which are nothing but marketing tactics to promote a certain product. Many products are “hyped up” by celebrity promotions and success stories. Again, this is just a ploy to get you to buy. I find it funny that very few weight loss success stories are geared at simply promoting healthy eating habits, there are always strings attached.
If you are considering specialized diet plans such as Atkins, LA Weight Loss, Jenny Craig and the like, weight loss success stories should just be a springboard in your decision whether or not to try the program. You will never be guaranteed to be successful outside of maybe a pound or two. This is partly due to the fact that many diets just plain don’t work. But it is also due to personal responsibility. Many people expect to get the same results as someone else, but are in no way willing to do what they did to get there.
