The teenage diet plan was created as a safe weight loss alternative to the dangerously quick weight loss schemes on the market today. It is a much safer alternative to the low carb and low fat diets that many teens get on board with. No one should ever attempt a diet that eliminates all of one food group.

• Exercise; yes exercise is one of the keys to success! It is important that growing bodies get enough aerobic AND resistance training exercise.

• Getting 6-8 hours of sleep per night is very important. The body needs adequate rest to function at its optimal level. This is especially important for teens that are growing so rapidly. We were designed to go to sleep when the sun goes down and get up when the sun comes up. It is this way for a purpose, to maintain good physical and mental health.

• Drink lots of water. Your body is made up of 70% water; therefore it is essential that you take in adequate water in the form of living foods (fruits and vegetables) or water.

The teenage diet plan is a healthy lifestyle plan. It is well suited for almost everyone, as it does not limit certain food groups, promotes exercise and slow weight loss. However, Diabetic teens and pregnant teens should follow the advice of their doctor before starting any diet.
